A serious incident occurred on the Nicosia-Larnaka highway on Wednesday morning.
Specifically, during a school trip, a bus which was moving on the highway despite the exit to Athienou, lost a wheel, causing a disturbance among the children on board.
The wheel of the bus struck, according to the testimonies SigmaLive has before it, a second passing bus.
After the incident there was a disturbance on the bus between teachers and students, but fortunately no one was injured, while the bus stopped on the side of the road and suffered minor damages.
A backup bus arrived at the scene to take the students to their field trip destination.
