A weak low pressure system is affecting the area. Light dust will be observed in the atmosphere.
In the afternoon, the weather will be cloudy with occasional rain, possibly accompanied by thunder. Locally in the higher mountains frost will be observed. Winds will blow mainly northeasterly to southeasterly, moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort and locally strong in the windward direction, 6 Beaufort. The sea will be up to wavy.
Tonight, the weather will remain cloudy with local rain, without excluding isolated storms on the coast. In a storm, hail is likely to fall and later, on the higher peaks of Troodos, sleet. The winds will blow mainly northeasterly, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and locally up to strong, 5 Beaufort. The sea will be turbulent and initially even wavy. The temperature will drop to 8 degrees inland, around 11 on the coast and to 3 degrees in the higher mountains, where frost will be observed locally.
Tomorrow, the weather will be mainly cloudy with isolated rain, mainly in the afternoon, in the west, in the southwest and in the mountains. The winds will blow mainly northeast to southeast, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and locally up to strong, 5 Beaufort. The sea will be rough. The temperature will rise to around 15 degrees inland and on the coast and to 4 degrees in the higher mountains, where frost will be observed locally.
On Saturday, local rains and isolated storms are expected, as well as snow in the higher mountains, however, a noticeable improvement in the weather is expected in the afternoon. On Sunday, the weather will be mainly cloudy at times and isolated rains are expected in the mountains in the afternoon. On Monday, the weather will be partly cloudy, while in the evening it will become cloudy and isolated rains may occur in the west and in the mountains.
The temperature will remain at the same levels on Saturday, however on Sunday it will rise and will fluctuate close to average climatic values, without further significant change on Monday.
