The complaints of 28 citizens and 15 people in charge of premises, of which 12 in Nicosia, were made by the Police in the last 24 hours, after 2.124 inspections carried out throughout Cyprus, in order to verify the implementation of the decrees of the Law on Infectious Diseases.
According to a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters, 574 inspections were carried out in Nicosia, in which 15 citizens and 12 property managers were reported, while in Limassol, 250 inspections were carried out, which resulted in 5 complaints from citizens and one property manager.
In Larnaca 454 inspections were carried out and 5 citizens and one person in charge of a property were reported, in Paphos 122 inspections were carried out, out of which 2 citizens complained, in Famagusta 340 inspections were carried out and a citizen and a person in charge of a property were reported, while in Morfos area 198 without complaint.
Also, all over Cyprus, the Traffic Police carried out 196 inspections, without any complaint.
The largest of the fines was € 4.000 at a property in Nicosia as an employee worked without safepass.
