The application process for participation in the Special Plans of the Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance for the period from 1 April 2021 to 30 April 2021 has started

The Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance announces that they have been posted today on the special website www.coronavirus.mlsi.gov.cy the applications for the following Special Plans for the period from 1 April 2021 to 30 April 2021:

  1. Special Plan for Hotel Units and Tourist Accommodations (Application EEA.9 or EEA.14),
  2. Special Plan of Economic Activities Related to the Tourism Industry or Economic Activities Affected by Tourism (Application EEA.10 or EEA.11),
  3. Special Plan for Partial Suspension of the Company's Operations (ESA Application.4),
  4. Special Unemployment Support Plan (EEC Application.8) and
  5. Special Work Absence Allowance for Health Reasons (EEC Application.15).

They are also posted on the special website www.coronavirus.mlsi.gov.cy templates of Certified Public Accountant Report that must be submitted electronically together with the corresponding application.

The electronic applications for the following Special Plans will follow:

  1. Special Plan for Complete Suspension of the Company's Operations (ESA Application.3),
  2. Special Plan for Certain Categories of Independent Employees Decision (ESA Application.5),
  3. Special Work Absence Allowance for the Care of Children under six (6) years of age or Children attending Child Protection and Employment Centers serving school-age children and persons with disabilities (EEC Application 16) (for the period 26/4/2021 -9/5/2021).

It is emphasized that the deadline electronic submission of applications for participation in the Special Plans for the period from 1 April 2021 to 30 April 2021 are the midnight on Monday, May 10, 2021.

Interested parties are invited to submit their application in a timely manner as the online applications will not be available for use after the above deadline and any requests for late applications will not be accepted.

It is emphasized that in order for the payment of the Special Allowances to be possible, the appropriate Bank Account Statement mentioned in each application must be submitted, provided that it has not already been submitted and confirmed.
