The Minister said in introductions that she meets the Chief almost every day and talks to him on the phone every day because, as she explained, he is one of her closest collaborators.
"Consider the matter closed. The President of the Republic has been installed, the issue is over. Next week the Chief and I will meet with the President to present the new policing plan. We will immediately proceed with the restructuring plans of the Police. I repeat the issue is expired. There is no question of suspending the Chief."
