The Ministry of Defense announces that from February 6, 2023, the new electronic platform will be operational for submitting the data of those who turn or have turned 16 within the current year (born in 2007).
The platform will remain in operation until March 31, 2023 and those who have not proceeded to register their details are invited to do so in order to do the necessary preparatory work and preparation for their call to the National Guard.
It is noted that according to the National Guard Law, this is a mandatory procedure for those who turn 16 years of age.
It is also emphasized that those young people who do not submit their information will not be able to issue an exit permit in order to travel outside of Cyprus.
