On the occasion of the reopening from 1η June sites / businesses in the framework of the strategy for gradual restart of the economy and social activity, and to ensure the safest possible activity of citizens, it is reminded that the provision of SafePass is valid indoors.

It is noted that, in case of control by authorized officials, persons aged 12 and over must have and present SafePass, during their presence in the following companies / premises:

- Indoor dining (restaurants, cafes, bars, snack bars, coke)

- Indoor places of religious worship

- Indoor theaters, amphitheaters, cinemas and performing arts halls

- Shopping malls and retail stores

- Social events, such as weddings, baptisms and funerals, etc.

- Gyms, dance schools and other sports schools, according to the guidelines of the Cyprus Sports Organization

- Nursing homes, nursing homes, accommodation facilities for the chronically ill and other closed structures

- Hotels and tourist accommodation

- Conferences, trade fairs

- Casino.

At the same time, it is clarified that the presentation of SafePass it is not mandatory for going outdoors or outdoors. Specifically, SafePass ownership is not required in:

- Hairdressers, beauty salons

- Banks

- Departments / Services of public service of the private, public and wider public sector

- Gambling and betting companies

- Flea markets, supermarkets, bakeries, butchers, fishmongers, fruit shops, mini-markets, kiosks, pharmacies

- Beaches

- Outdoor dining areas

- Courtyards of religious worship

- Outdoor theaters, amphitheaters, cinemas and performing arts halls

- Outdoor excursions, dams and zoos.

To secure SafePass, citizens 12 years of age and older must meet one of the following requirements:

  1. Vaccination certificate at least one dose and 3 weeks after the vaccine has been given. Citizens can present it Vaccination Card given to Vaccination Centers, either
  2. Proof that a person has contracted the disease COVID-19 the last 6 months. Citizens can present the release text message or recovery text message sent to them by the Ministry of Health on their mobile phone, either
  3. If one of the above does not apply, and as a temporary solution, citizens aged 12 and over are given the option to submit negative test certificate, PCR or rapid test, valid for 72 hours. Citizens can present either the form given to them by the various sampling points either the text message sent to their mobile phone with the result of the examination. It is clarified that certificates from antibody tests or self-test will not be accepted.
