The Pafos Police arrested a 35-year-old man to facilitate investigations into two pending theft cases.
According to the Assistant Police Director of Paphos Operations, Michalis Nikolaou, on Tuesday morning, a 35-year-old permanent resident of Cyprus was identified and arrested against whom judicial arrest warrants were pending for two cases.
One case was told to the KYPE by Mr. Nikolaou concerns the theft of a vehicle worth 4.000 euros which was committed on October 27 and belonged to a 59-year-old Greek Cypriot.
The second case concerned a case of theft of oil worth 400 euros which had been committed between October 26 and 28, 2024 through the tanks of boring type vehicles belonging to a 44-year-old from Paphos.
Regarding the second case, continued Mr. Nikolaou, two other persons are wanted, a 27-year-old and a 40-year-old.
