The Pafos Police arrested a 41-year-old person for an investigation of a vehicle arson case.
According to the Assistant Head of the Paphos TAE Kyriakos Charalambous, "there was evidence against the 41-year-old, he was arrested and taken into custody."
The fire in a vehicle, which was parked in an open parking area of the apartment complex in Paphos, occurred at 4:54 am on Thursday.
According to the Fire Department, the rear of the vehicle was damaged by the fire, while the heat slightly affected the paintwork of an adjacent vehicle.
The Paphos fire station immediately responded to extinguish the fire with two fire engines.
The causes of the fire after investigating the case showed that it was arson.
