Aristotle case: On Thursday the delivery of the Emilianidis conclusion

Tomorrow Thursday is expected the delivery of the report of the independent criminal investigator, Achillea Emilianidis, who was appointed to investigate the complaints of the Director of the Central Prisons, Anna Aristotelous, against the Commander of the YKAN, Michalis Katsounotou.

 

As the KYPE is informed, within the day it is expected that the last pending matters related to the investigative work will be completed, so that the conclusion can be handed over to the General Prosecutor of the Republic, Giorgos Savvidis.

 

According to the information of the KYPE, the conclusion has not yet been fully completed, however, it is expected to be completed within the day, with Achilleas Emilianidis delivering the conclusion tomorrow to the Attorney General, who will examine whether or not they arise criminal offences.

 

In the meantime, it is recalled that tomorrow Thursday the timetable for the availability of the Commander of the National Security Agency expires, with the Minister of Justice and Public Order, Stefi Drakou, expected to decide - depending on the conclusion - whether or not he will return to his duties.

 

It is recalled that the case, with the alleged involvement of YKAN Commander Michalis Katsounotos, who, according to the complaints, was looking for evidence that would affect the Directorate of Central Prisons, saw the light of day on June 17, while the Director of Central Prisons through the of her lawyers, made an official complaint to the Attorney General, on the 20th of the same month.
