Another arrest in connection with the illegal sale of a medicinal product was made yesterday by the Police in the province of Famagusta. A 22-year-old woman from Lithuania, who was found by members of the Famagusta OPE, on a road in Ayia Napa, approaching passers-by in order to sell them Laughing Gas.
A search carried out in the possession of the 22-year-old, identified and confiscated as evidence, a metal bottle, 70 empty balloons, 26 unused and 13 used ampoules and the amount of € 36.
The 22-year-old was arrested for a self-inflicted crime and was detained to facilitate the investigations, while she is expected to appear today before the Famagusta District Court in Paralimni.
The Ayia Napa Police Station is investigating the case.
