Pantone announces for the 15th consecutive year the color that (according to it) will determine the trends in the design of clothes, accessories, furniture, decorations, etc. For 2015, it chose Marsala, from the homonymous Sicilian wine variety with the earthy red-brown color .
According to Leatrice Eiseman (director of Pantone), the color was chosen because it brings to mind the satisfaction you feel after a rich meal. It is at the same time natural and elegant, with universal appeal, therefore, it can be translated into any kind of design line.
