Two months before the arrival of summer and many are the ones who started organizing their vacation. Ticket and accommodation booking sites bombard visitors daily with unique opportunity messages.

"We are careful not to fall into the traps, the sooner the better. To know who we are dealing with, to know that the company to which they are addressing from which they will buy their package, will be a European company, this is very important "said the President of the Consumers Association, Loukas Aristodimou.

A European Commission survey of 352 ticket and accommodation sites found that 70% of the web pages checked had lower prices than what the consumer was ultimately charged for. In 20% of the pages it was observed that there were fabricated reviews that misled the visitors.

"If they set us up with baked goods, they enter into some provocative offers for us to suspect, to verify what they tell us, not to believe so simply. "There are also misleading advertisements and unfair commercial tactics, which of course are punished," said Mr. Aristodimou.

It is therefore good to do a careful research by the public, before proceeding with the transaction, in order to avoid unpleasant surprises during their excursions.
