The Superintendent of Associations, Foundations & Other Related Matters of Famagusta organizes an informative seminar on "Mandatory Notifications to the Superintendent of Associations and Foundations - Instructions for using the electronic platform of Non-Profit Organizations".
The seminar will take place in the closed hall of the Municipal Building of the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia, on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 17:00.
The purpose of the mentioned seminar is to inform the Members of the Boards of Directors of the Associations and Institutions of the Famagusta District, regarding their obligations arising from the provisions of the Associations and Institutions and other related Law issues, as well as the use and management of the electronic platform of Non-Profit Organizations (NGOs) of the Ministry of the Interior, on the basis of which all the necessary documents deriving from the provisions of articles 10 and 49(3) of the relevant Legislation are registered.
It is noted that, according to the instructions of the General Registrar of Unions, from 01/01/2025 the digital registration of the mandatory notifications by an authorized representative of each union will be mandatory. Therefore, the presence of your representative will help the smooth continuation of the digital operation of the District NGO Registry.
Additionally, it is noted that according to article 48 of the Law, failure to submit the mandatory notifications on time constitutes a violation for which the Registrar may impose an administrative fine, while based on article 24 he may initiate the process of dissolution of the Union through the court .
