The purpose of the Municipal Volunteer Group is the financial, material and psychological support of the needy families of our Municipality. To achieve this goal, the volunteers decided to participate in today's lighting event of our Municipality with a charity bazaar during which Christmas ornaments made by the volunteer members of the Municipal Volunteer Group will be available for sale.
For the crafts, the members of the IOC have attended "lessons" from the decorator-painter, Androula Sergiou, who showed ways in which we can take recyclable materials, such as newspapers, cardboard boxes, glasses or bottles to make unique ornaments , such as candlesticks, platters, ornaments and various others.
All these constructions will be available for sale today, December 2, during the lighting event of our Municipality at the City Hall of Sotira at 6 pm and on December 22 during the Christmas events in the Square of Sotira.
