The students of the Regional Technical and Agricultural School of Famagusta / Avgorou, with their music-theater group, traveled to Heraklion, Crete, where they gave their best in the artistic performance entitled "And so you will grow up… with poems my little ..." on Wednesday, March 8.
The Technical School, in addition to its various activities, presented a moving tribute to melodic poetry with many humanitarian and social messages.
In short, the script of the play stars "Fate", which writes and prescribes the destiny of a person from birth to death.
During the narration, the students sing, recite and interpret theatrical, favorite melodic poems of Greek and foreign poets, showing us how poetry accompanies us in every step of our lives.
In this play the texts were written by Stefania Parpa and directed by Eftychia Georgiou.
The students who participated were: Giannis Michail, Giorgos Pavlou, Nikolas Theocharidis, Dimitris Pelekanos, Andreas Londou, Isabella Kountourou, Despo Charalambous, Christina Missi, Christiana Paplomata, Kallis Kyriakos Pathakos and Vathiki Matathiki
It is noteworthy that all proceeds from the performance that took place at the Community Theater of Achna Forest on March 2 before their departure for Crete, were given to the needy students of the School. The total income from the show in Crete was also given to a Special School of Heraklion.
The students, together with their teachers, showed that the turn of young people towards poetry, theater and the arts presupposes a better world and an intellectual development without the underlying false world created through the misuse of the online media of our time.
