The Minister of Finance is going to be announced today by the candidate for the President of the Republic, Andreas Mavrgiannis.
According to the chief of staff of Andreas Mavroyiannis, Leontios Filotheou, possibly Mr. Mavroyiannis will announce the Minister of Finance.
As he said on the state channel, the Finance Minister of Andreas Mavroyiannis will not come from AKEL and will be a person of wider acceptance, in an attempt to secure the support of the Alarmists for the second round.
The announcement is expected before the session of the Political Bureau of DISY which is scheduled at six in the afternoon on Tuesday.
