Yesterday's event organized in Larnaca by the Vanguard Women's Club and the Women's Organization of the Democratic Alert of Larnaca and Famagusta was massive. Women who, with their numerous and dynamic presence, sent a clear message of victory to the President of the Democratic Alarm and candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Averof Neophytou, who also attended the event.
The President of the Parliament and Vice-President of the Democratic Alarm, Mrs. Annita Dimitriou, stated in her short greeting, among other things, the following:
"Averof Neophytou is the most capable to lead the difficulties of this state. To lead the new Cyprus. To lead tomorrow. And we will be with him to be able to protect our children and create the Cyprus we deserve. A liberal, peaceful and prosperous Cyprus. Away from Skopelos and Kassandras".
For her part, Ms. Iosifina Antoniou, Commissioner for Gender Equality, emphasized the following:
"With Averof Neofytou we know where we are going. Because it has a fixed compass on the course of logic, prudence and consistency. We cannot leave the successful course of the Anastasiadis-Synaermou government without a continuation. We cannot gamble with the successful course. We cannot gamble with our country. So we are choosing a captain who will continue the course of the Alarm, the course of the Anastasiades administration, but I am sure he will improve it."
