Referring to the whole process of talks in Switzerland, Mr. Akinci said that it had been accepted that Crans Montana would be the "last stop" and claimed that everyone there knows that the Turkish and Turkish sides behaved within a reasonable framework. However, the Greek Cypriot side did not do the same, but again the Turkish Cypriot side did not close the door to dialogue.

As for what will happen next, Mustafa Akinci reiterated his position that no open-ended negotiations will continue.
He also noted that they should solve internal problems and strengthen the "TRNC", as the pseudo-state called it, saying that "the steps we have to take in our own house should not be postponed for another spring".
