Following the announcement by the President of the Republic for the promotion and implementation of the package of measures "At every beginning, together", with the aim of strengthening the students at the start of the new school year, but also alleviating the family budget, in the context of of measures to deal with punctuality, the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth (YPAN) clarifies that the measures concern all students who fall into the defined beneficiary categories, regardless of income or other financial criteria.

Specifically:

(a) The grant of €100 per student for the purchase of school supplies, applies to all children who will attend public schools in the 2024st Primary, 2025st Middle School, XNUMXst High School and XNUMXst Technical School, during the XNUMX school year -XNUMX. The grant will be paid to a bank account indicated by the parents/guardians, by completing the relevant form at the beginning of the school year.

(b) The €200 grant for the purchase of a tablet is valid for all male and female students who will attend the 2024rd grade in public schools, during the 2025-XNUMX school year. The tablets must meet minimum technical specifications and the grant will be made on the basis of presentation of a relevant invoice.

(c) The grant of €400 for the purchase of a laptop is valid for all students who will attend the second year of high school in public schools, during the school year 2024-2025. The laptops should meet minimum technical specifications and the grant will be made on the basis of presentation of relevant invoice.

(d) The grant of €150 will be made by the Under-Minister of Social Welfare (VSM) and applies to families who are entitled to child benefit and have at least three children attending Pre-Primary (ages 4 6/12 and above), Primary, Middle and Technical Education, including children attending private schools.

(e) The grant of €150 also applies to families whose at least three children attend public Pre-Primary (ages 4 6/12 and above), Primary, Secondary and Technical Education schools (including private schools) and are not entitled to any from the measures described above. This grant will be made by the Ministry of Education and will be paid into a bank account indicated by the parents/guardians, by completing the relevant form at the beginning of the school year.

(f) The discount, from €200 to €30 per year, on Public Passenger Transport fares will be made under the supervision of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works and applies to all students of Secondary General and Secondary Technical Education, who attend public schools.
