Statements by the Deputy Minister to the President on the National Plan "Cyprus – Tomorrow"

The National Plan "Cyprus-Tomorrow" is an achievement of historical importance for our country, the implementation of which requires a continuation of the course of political and economic stability, said today the Deputy Minister alongside the President Mr. Petros Dimitriou.

In his statements to the media, at the Presidential Palace, the Deputy Minister to the President, Mr. Petros Dimitriou, said that "the national plan 'Cyprus-Tomorrow' constitutes a total, economic and social transformation of our country. A program that includes projects and policies designed by Cypriots for Cypriots, an achievement of historic importance for our country.

It is the legacy of the administration of Nikos Anastasiadis. The Plan is broken down into eight development pillars and includes 58 reforms and 75 investment actions with a budget that may exceed 4 billion euros.

It goes without saying that the implementation of the Plan requires the continuation of the course of political and economic stability for our country.

The President of the Republic wishes to present to the people everything included in 'Cyprus – Tomorrow'. Its aim is to give a complete picture of the provisions and the course of implementation of the Plan, so that every citizen becomes a participant in the Government's effort to deliver a truly modern country to the next generations.

The beginning of a series of events that will be held for all the pillars of Cyprus – Tomorrow, will take place tomorrow, September 13, at an event during which the President of the Republic will present the pillar 'Welfare State, Inclusive Society'".
