The Democratic Alarm once again emphasizes the fundamental importance of public health for society as a whole. The continuous upgrading of the health services provided is a constant and non-negotiable priority for us. The modernization and strengthening of public hospitals require political responsibility, continuous effort and cooperation of all stakeholders.
To this end, we request:
• The immediate acceleration of the procedures for filling the necessary medical personnel positions.
• The creation of a mechanism for continuous assessment of human resources and medical equipment needs.
• The development of substantial and targeted incentives to retain doctors in public hospitals.
• The implementation of protocols for the timely and immediate management of any crisis or problem that arises.
We recognize and respect every opinion and every reasonable concern expressed. However, public health is not a matter for political confrontation or partisan manipulation. It requires seriousness, modesty and a sense of responsibility.
