New, innovative solutions for managing migration and strengthening the EU's return policy will be on the agenda of the informal Home Affairs Council in Warsaw on Thursday, in which Deputy Minister of Migration and International Protection Dr. Nikolas Ioannides will participate.
According to an announcement by the Deputy Ministry, Mr. Ioannides is traveling to Warsaw on Wednesday.
During the Council's work, it is reported, "the main topic of discussion will be new, innovative solutions for migration management and the strengthening of the EU's return policy."
On the sidelines of the Informal Council, Dr. Ioannides will meet with the Federal Minister of the Interior of Austria, Gerhard Karner, to exchange views on issues of common interest.
