With humanitarian aid from the US, Britain and Cyprus, the American merchant ship Sagamore left for Gaza before noon.

As the Deputy Government Spokesman Yannis Antoniou stated in KYPE, "the American commercial ship Sagamore, loaded with humanitarian aid, left the port of Larnaca before noon for Gaza".

"The ship is carrying a significant cargo of humanitarian aid from the United States, Britain and Cyprus," noted Mr. Antoniou.

He added that "the platform is expected to be ready by the time the ship arrives" to unload aid and distribute it to Palestinians who need it.
