We welcome the announcement by the President of the Republic for the operation of a District Education Office in the Famagusta District, a standing request that I submitted as a Member of Parliament for Famagusta and was fully supported by the Democratic Alarm and the entire local community.
Famagusta deserves an autonomous and well-functioning Education Office, equally like all the Districts, that will listen to local needs and respond with flexibility and immediate response.
We now await the practical implementation of the announcement.
