The Council of Ministers, which met yesterday under the Chairmanship of the President of the Republic, Mr. Nikos Christodoulidis, after studying the requirements and needs of the Public Service, decided on the placement/transfer of the following General Managers, with effect from 01.11.2024, as follows:
Mr. Andreas Zachariadis, at the Ministry of Finance.
Mr. Giorgos Pantelis, at the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth.
Mrs. Marina Ioannou Hassapi, at the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works.
The Council of Ministers also decided to submit a recommendation to the Public Service Commission to make the alternate appointment:
Ms. Pinelopis Papavasileiou to perform the duties of the position of General Director, in the General Directorate of Development, Ministry of Finance, from 1.11.2024 until the normal filling of the position, in addition to the duties of Secretary of the Council of Ministers.
Ms. Anna Aristotelous, Director of Prisons, to perform the duties of the position of General Director at the Ministry of Defense, from 1.11.2024 until the normal filling of the position, in addition to the duties assigned to her by the President of the Republic as Advisor and Head of Humanitarian Issues of Missing Persons and Imprisoned.
