The government is satisfied with the inclusion in the text of the summit conclusions, instructing Turkey to implement the readmission agreement with the European Union, without discrimination, against all member states.

Government spokesman Nikos Christodoulidis, speaking to TRITO from Brussels, said that the decisions taken send very clear messages to Turkey, which, he added, is annoyed.
He added that the European Union, reacting to Turkey's behavior, especially in the field of human rights violations, called on the European Commission to consider taking measures related to the pre-accession financial assistance provided to Ankara.
The Government Spokesman pointed out that it is a common approach of European leaders that Turkey's behavior does not allow the Union to strengthen their relations, either politically or economically.
Regarding the so-called tariffs, he said that targeted actions are already being taken to overturn Turkey's decision.
