The Cyprus issue, the Turkish provocation in the Aegean and the migration issue are expected to concern, among other things, the meeting between the President of the Republic Nikos Anastasiadis and the Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz in the afternoon, in Berlin.
In the meantime, the meeting of the President of the Republic Nikos Anastasiadis with the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank Walter Steinmeier, is underway at the Presidential Palace in Berlin.
The talks he will have in the afternoon (18:00 Cyprus time) with the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, are also expected to be very important.
The President of the Republic of Cyprus will be received at the Chancellery with military honors.
A statement from the Chancellery states that the agenda of the conversation will include bilateral, European, economic and energy issues.
According to information from the KYPE, it is considered certain that the Cyprus issue, the Turkish provocation in the Aegean will be discussed, but the immigration issue will also play an important role.
It is expected that at 19:15 Cyprus time, President Anastasiades and Chancellor Soltz will make statements to the media and answer relevant questions.
