N. Papadopoulos - S. Malas for holders of securities

Nikolas Papadopoulos proved that he supports the demands of the holders of securities and has given specific proposals, said the president of the Association, Foivos Mavrovouniotis.

Explaining the decision of the Association to withdraw its own candidacy and support the candidacy of Nikola Papadopoulos, he said that the proposal of the President of DIKO provides that all holders of securities will be able to receive the first 100 thousand euros, in five annual installments.
Phoebus Mavrovouniotis said that the Association also had meetings with Stavros Malas and George Lillikas, while Nikos Anastasiadis did not keep, as he said, his promise to meet them.
Of the 355 present members of the Association, who were present at yesterday's assembly, 352 voted in favor of Papadopoulos' candidacy and there were three abstentions.

N. Papadopoulos

Nikolas Papadopoulos expressed satisfaction with the decision of the Association of Securities Holders to support his candidacy, emphasizing that his proposals are realistic and applicable and will not affect the state budget.
Speaking on RIK's show "First Information", Mr. Papadopoulos assured that if elected, he will implement his proposal for partial compensation of securities holders and severed depositors.
He dismissed criticism from the government and election staff of Anastasiadis that it would need ten state budgets to deliver on its promises to the people, saying the president had announced measures in support of about XNUMX billion euros.
He reiterated that if elected President of the Republic, he would immediately appoint experts to investigate the financial scandal.
She also expressed her appreciation that the most serious cases were not brought to justice.

F. Malas

Stavros Malas, the presidential candidate, refuses to enter the majority of impossible announcements, commenting on the decision of the Association of Securities Holders to support Nikolas Papadopoulos in the Presidential elections.
Speaking to THIRD, he stressed that the state can not share promises at this time.
Referring to the Cyprus issue, he said that his positions are clear in contrast to the positions of his opponents.
Stavros Malas stressed that he will seek immediate resumption of negotiations, unlike President Anastasiadis, who sets the conditions for a return to talks.
He also said that the new strategy proposed by Nikolas Papadopoulos does not give prospects for a solution to the Cyprus problem.
