The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, will attend the funeral of Pope Francis, as reported by CNA.
Pope Francis' funeral will take place on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. local time in the square in front of St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican announced on Tuesday.
The coffin of the Argentine Pontiff, who died on Monday at the age of 88, will then be taken to the church and from there to the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome for burial.
