The Chief Electoral Officer announces that, in accordance with the provisions of the current electoral legislation, blind or physically disabled persons may vote by themselves, if they declare to the presiding officer that they are able to do so.
A voter who, due to blindness or other physical incapacity, is unable to vote by himself, may also request the presiding officer to assist him in exercising his right to vote, according to his wish, in the presence of one of his assistant officers election center.
Blind or physically disabled persons may also, if they wish, ask any other person of their complete confidence to vote on their behalf, without the intervention of any other person.
The presiding officer may explain how to vote to a disabled, incapacitated or illiterate voter, carefully avoiding any action that may be taken as advice or instruction in favor of a particular combination or candidate.
