"There are many issues that we will have to solve so that on the one hand we can deal with the irregular situation and on the other hand this crisis does not spread to the wider region", said the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulidis.
Regarding the issue of evacuations, he said that there are requests from 26 states to utilize Cyprus and we will respond to this role due to our proximity to the region.
He noted that, from then on, Cyprus cannot accept more refugee flows, if the need arises we will see how we will manage the situation with the EU.
On security issues, he said that he is in constant contact on this issue. "It is known that there are demonstrations and it is their right. We don't have such cases, but events that will attempt to spread hatred and create data that will be dangerous cannot be accepted."
