The President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulidis is in Brussels where he will participate on Monday in the European People's Party Summit and then he will participate in the informal dinner of the European Council.
The President traveled to Brussels after attending the International Conference on Peace in Ukraine held in Burgenstock, Switzerland.
During the working dinner, the heads of state and government of the EU member countries will evaluate the results of the recent Elections for the nomination of the members of the European Parliament.
In this context, the leaders will also exchange views regarding the new heads of the EU institutions, for which final decisions are expected to be taken during the regular European Council meeting on 27 and 28 June.
The President of the Republic is accompanied by the Director of his Press Office, the Director of his Diplomatic Office, Doros Venezis and the Deputy Minister of European Affairs, Marilena Rauna.
