The President of DISY and candidate for the presidency of the Republic, Averof Neophytou, will have a meeting with President Anastasiades today.
According to information from Sigma, the meeting has been set for 09:30 in the morning, one hour before the start of the session of the Council of Ministers.
It is recalled that in a written statement, President Anastasiades emphasized that, in response to what is being said and written, his only concern is the preservation of the unity of the Democratic Alarm.
At the same time, he pointed out that it is necessary to respect the decisions of the collective bodies of the historical faction and to avoid any statements that call into question the declared intentions of members or executives of the Party.
The President of the Republic also stated that, consistently respecting these principles, he will express his positions through a strictly personal letter to the President of DISY.
In the written statement, President Anastasiades also noted that he is at the disposal of Averof Neophytos, to listen to any opinions or concerns he had or still has.
