President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides will have a meeting with the heads of trade union organizations today regarding the ATA, after meeting with the heads of employer organizations last night to discuss the framework for Automatic Indexation.
As reported to 'X' yesterday by Government Spokesperson Konstantinos Letymbiotis, "following Friday's meeting held between the Ministers of Finance, Labor and Social Insurance, the trade union and employer organizations, during which a framework of convergence was formed regarding the dialogue on the ATA, which was accepted in principle by the heads of the trade union organizations, President Christodoulides held a meeting tonight (last night) with the heads of the employer organizations, in the presence of the Ministers of Finance and Labor and Social Insurance."
During the meeting, the Representative reported, the framework for the ATA as it has been formed, the Tax Reform and broader economic issues were discussed.
He notes that the employer organizations are planning a joint meeting on Wednesday to make their final decision regarding the ATA.
The President of the Republic will hold a corresponding meeting with the heads of trade union organizations on Monday, the Spokesperson concludes.
