The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement due to the state of emergency in Israel, calling on Cypriot citizens to follow the instructions of the country's competent authorities.
As it states, taking into account the state of emergency in Israel, it recommends that Cypriot citizens follow the instructions of the country's competent authorities, avoid unnecessary travel, observe the maximum possible security measures and be regularly informed of developments through international and local media (media).
Israel's airspace is closed and no flights are currently operating to and from Ben Gurion Airport, it is reported.
