The pseudo-state "which is the success story of the Eastern Mediterranean" should be strengthened, Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar said in a speech at an economic forum organized by the pseudo-state's "investment promotion platform" at a hotel in the occupied territories.
He also invited German investors, who are participating in the forum, to invest in the occupied territories in various sectors such as agriculture, education and tourism.
As reported in the occupied territories, Mr. Tatar also mentioned that during the British colonial rule of Cyprus, a large number of Turkish Cypriots immigrated to Britain and Australia thus reducing the number of Turkish Cypriots on the island and said that the aim is to strengthen pseudo-state relations with expatriates.
He also said that more than 4 million Turkish citizens live in Germany, noting that the 100 million Turks in Turkey and abroad are the "strength of the Turkish Cypriots".
He referred to pseudo-state relations with the Turkish states, claiming that the Turkish side is doing everything possible to economically and politically destroy the occupied territories.
He also reiterated the position that, without "political equality" and international recognition, negotiations will not begin.
He also criticized the British Prime Minister, who, as Mr. Tatar, during his visit to the island he did not have a meeting with the "local administration" according to his expression.
