The Republic of Cyprus will host on November 27, the Tripartite Summit of Cyprus - Greece - Jordan, with the participation of the President of the Republic Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, the King of Jordan Abdullah II and the Prime Minister of Greece Mr. Kyriakou Mitsotakis.
This is the fourth consecutive Tripartite Summit of the three countries following the one held in Athens in July 2021. .
The Tripartite Summit will take place at noon on November 27, at the Presidential Palace, with a private meeting of the three leaders followed by a working lunch for the heads and members of their three delegations.
During the work of the Tripartite Summit, there will be a review of the implementation of the tripartite cooperation to date on various issues that occupied the tripartite mechanism in previous Meetings, such as, among many others, the creation of a Permanent Secretariat for the coordination of the tripartite mechanisms, based in Cyprus, the cooperation in matters of extinguishing fires with the creation of a regional Center which will be based in Cyprus, as well as the cooperation in matters of education and investment.
Regional developments, as well as the Cyprus issue and EU-Jordan relations will be among the main topics that will concern the Meeting.
During the Trilateral Summit, Memoranda of Understanding will also be signed between Cyprus - Greece - Jordan in areas such as education, water management and investments.
