Amendments concerning the farmers' registry were approved today by the Council of Ministers, with the Minister of Agriculture, Maria Panayiotou, stating that the procedures for registering on the database and for the requests of the agricultural movement are being simplified.
Ms. Panayiotou added in her statements after the session that they create new categories and facilitate the registration of new farmers, whether they are legal entities or natural persons. "The Farmers' Registry, since the day I took office, has been interconnected with all investments and subsidies, so that it receives due utilization, as was a permanent request of the agricultural movement."
So the registration of farmers in the register is now increasing, and this particularly satisfies us, concluded Ms. Panayiotou.
