A priority of the Cyprus Presidency is the formation of a strong, fair and effective Common Agricultural Policy, said Agriculture Minister Maria Panayiotou.
Speaking on the morning program, Mrs. Panayiotou said that targeted measures must be taken to support the sector, in collaboration with the European institutions.
Referring to the demands of Cypriot farmers, she pointed out that the foundations are being laid for a permanent solution to the water issue, while at the same time decisions are being made to support farmers and their incomes.
