97,8% of the online registrations of parents/guardians for the first grade of primary school have been completed successfully, the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth (YPAN) said in a statement on Wednesday, noting that "all necessary changes have already been made and we urge everyone not to falsify the information on the online platform for other purposes."
As reported, within the framework of computerizing the operations of school units, 97,8% of the electronic registrations of parents/guardians for the XNUMXst grade of primary school have been completed with complete success. "The benefits from the electronic governance of school units are multiple, through an ambitious co-funded project that began in previous years and is being implemented normally," it is noted.
It is reported that the entire project known as eDΕΑ covers the computerization of all school unit activities and their interconnection with the Ministry of Education and Science and is indicated to be a major project that will upgrade and improve all activities/functions, providing the tools to upgrade education for the benefit of students and society at large.
It is added that this first phase of implementation revealed in its overwhelming majority that there were no particular issues in the procedural part, but, as expected, points that needed improvement and/or changes were also highlighted.
"All necessary changes have already been made and we urge everyone not to falsify the data of the electronic platform for other purposes," it is noted and added that reports that have seen the light of day on theories that were interconnected with gender identity or the position of the Religious Studies course in schools have no place in the implementation of an electronic application environment, since the established and long-standing policy of the Ministry of Education and Culture on these issues is a given and has not changed.
It is also reported that the Ministry of Education, with the help of users of e-government tools (parents, teachers, etc.) and all interested parties, continues to upgrade and improve its offer on the path to the digital school, the aim of which is to facilitate teachers and parents, as well as the system.
"Creating disruption for an effort to improve everyone's daily life is inappropriate and unnecessary," the statement concludes.
