"Steps are being taken and much more will be done. We do not consider that the problems are solved with one measure or through specific restrictive measures, but through an integrated approach and through the cooperation of all relevant parties, for the gradual achievement of the goals we set, so that we can achieve the steps together, which are necessary for our country to recover demographically", he said.

In addition, Mr. Panagiotou stated that the future of the Agency was discussed, which "will evolve through the utilization of the European Commission's toolbox for demography, with the perspective of restarting the operation of the agency, so that through today's plenary of the composition, there should also be a concentration in specific areas in accordance with the structure of the toolbox, which concerns the support of families, working parents, the empowerment of young people for their early integration into the labor market, the support of older people for the maintaining their participation in the production process for as long as possible and for the rational utilization of the possibilities of legal and in accordance with the prescribed immigration procedures".

For his part, the President of the World Organization of Multiple Children, Dinos Olympios, said that the current Government "has taken seriously this big problem, which has been plaguing Cyprus for years" and expressed the hope that the ways and means will soon be found solutions, through consultation and joint dialogue, to start solving this serious problem, which for the Pancypriot Organization of Multiple Children, is "the first national problem, after the political one".

The President of the All-Cypriot Organization of Families of Five, Efthymios Struthos, spoke of a "restart" of the Agency, while the Honorary President of Multiple Children, Ioannis Fakas, expressed his satisfaction, because measures have begun to be taken, there is movement on the issue, while the Government and Parliament "to deal with the matter".
