The Municipal Youth Councils of the Municipalities of Kyrenia, Lapithos and Karavas announce a Pancyprian Student Art Competition with the theme "I Live - I Create in a Free Cyprus" reinforcing the timeless message "I do not forget, I struggle, I claim".
The aim of the action is to offer young people the opportunity to express their vision for a free and reunited homeland, while cultivating dialogue, creativity and artistic expression.
The right to participate in the visual art design competition is open to students from the 4th grade of Primary School to the 3rd grade of High School / TESEK, who are invited to create an A3-sized visual art work, and to illustrate the theme that has been determined with free graphic manipulations and choice of materials. Any means of composition can be used, from artistic materials to electronic composition on a computer. Entries can be submitted in a closed envelope in which each contestant encloses their creation and the entry form. The name and surname of the Contestant must be written on the back of the work. Alternatively, entries can be submitted to the Competition's email address, indicating the subject "Visual Art Competition 2025", attaching the creation and the entry form in a separate file.
The competition is divided into 3 (three) categories:
– Group A: Grades 4, 5 & 6 of Primary School
– Group B: Grades A, B & C of High School
– Group C: Grades A, B & C of High School / TESEK
