The UN Secretary-General's Personal Envoy for Cyprus, Maria Angela Holguin, is returning to Cyprus next week and will have meetings with the two leaders on Tuesday, January 27, UN Representative in Cyprus, Alim Siddique, told CNA.
According to Mr. Siddiq, the meeting with President Christodoulides is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., while Ms. Holguin will then meet with Turkish Cypriot leader Tufan Erhürman at 2:00 p.m. No other meetings have been confirmed at this stage, he concluded.
Moreover, as CNA is informed, President Christodoulides has expressed his desire for a joint meeting with the Turkish Cypriot leader and Ms. Holguin.
