Referring to the Cyprus issue, he said that in order for the official talks to resume but for a solution to the Cyprus issue to be reached, the demands of the Turkish Cypriot side must be accepted, which is the recognition of the "sovereign equality and equal international status" of the occupiers. He also said that the talks on federation are over.
Yesterday, the first phase of the exercise took place in the occupied Agios Hilarion, while the second phase will take place in the sea area in occupied Famagusta. The exercise was attended by Ersin Tatar, former leader Mehmet Ali Talat, "Foreign Minister" Εsin Ertugruloglu, "ambassador" of Turkey to the occupied territories Ali Murat Basteri, "MPs" and foreign observers.
