Panagiotis Pitta from Frenaros, who worked at the Hatzigiorkis Mills, passed away at the age of 70.
The announcement of Cyprus Millers By Hadjigiorkis
The family of Cyprus Millers By Hadjigiorkis, bids farewell today to the beloved Panagiotis Pittas, who left this world in the early hours of the morning, at the age of 70, after a long battle with a debilitating disease. Panaios, known to all, was the first person to be registered on the company's payroll, since its establishment in 1981, and offered his services for more than 35 years, from May 22, 1981 to June 30, 2016. He grew up with the company, was happy and proud of its progress, and he himself felt it like his second home. In all these years, he transported hundreds of tons of flour, always with his broad and shaking smile, thus winning not only the sympathy of his colleagues but also of the company's customers, many of whom referred to him even after his retirement. The company expresses its warmest condolences to his children, grandchildren and relatives along with a BIG THANK YOU for his contribution and cooperation! The funeral service will take place today at 3.00pm at the Church of Archangel Michael in Frenaros with the family receiving condolences from 2.30pm. May your memory be eternal, our Panayia, and may the soil that will cover you be light...
