Three beaches of Sotira in the selections of TIME OUT magazine

TIME OUT magazine went, saw, dived and suggests 7 beaches from which you will hardly come off and of which 3 are in Sotira!

Read the flattering report of TIME OUT magazine about the beaches of Sotira. The new beaches, the hidden beaches and the favorite beaches parade in front of your eyes.

Neptune (Savior)
The God of the sea will not be difficult to find, as it is located on the blond sandy beaches there "on the border" of Ayia Napa with the village of Sotira, just one kilometer west of Waterworld Waterpark and right next to the beach of Agia Thekla. A beach still under construction, but providing facilities (toilets, showers, ramps, etc.), sunbeds and umbrellas. Plus, the beach volleyball net for those who combine their bath with the ultimate summer sport.
Time out's splash: the carved rocks with the embossed pits that complete the scene.

Katerko (Savior)
A few hundred meters away from Poseidon beach is a small beach that is justifiably named "Katerko". It is a creek between rocks, which did not happen even with the slightest human intervention.
Time out's splash: We highly recommend it to couples who prefer absolute tranquility.

Sirens (Savior)
Another beach in the same location (just below Poseidon and Katerko). The Municipality of Sotira seems to be doing its best to satisfy in the best way those who visit its beaches. The new facilities include ramps, showers and toilets. The beach ends at another small, untouched cove. It is worth mentioning that right next to the Sirens, 14 extremely preserved carved tombs have recently been found.
Time out's splash: If you have chosen the Sirens for your bathroom, they are worth a visit.

Armyropigado (Scout Beach)
It is the closest beach to the Green Zone and is located at the end of Lefkados Street - exit of Kappari Avenue. The road narrows, becomes dirt and leads to a small parking lot. In front, the beach stretches from end to end, while the port in the size of a miniature, with the small boat that is tied to the side, is as if it came out of a canvas. Since last year, the Municipality of Protaras has taken care to equip the beach with umbrellas, beds and a detachable toilet. At the same time, in the summer you will find a "master" in the space that makes extremely "dirty"!
Time out's splash: Enjoy your iced beer, hot sun and clear waters in the most secluded corner of Protaras.

MMAD beach
You will find it on the road to Kapparis, after turning right, before the Amore Hotel Apartments. No special recommendations are needed, as it has been a great alternative for years for those who prefer a leisurely getaway away from the crowds on the mainstream beaches of the area.
Time out's splash: It is equipped with cots, umbrellas and toilets, while you can find water, refreshments and snacks in the kiosk located there.

“Malama” Beach
If you are a friend of watersports, but would like to combine them with a calmer mood, "Malama" beach is a must for you. You will easily find it and it will be difficult to detach. Except for the small number of beds and umbrellas due to its small width. Nevertheless, Malama Beach Holiday Village at a very short distance from the beach will compensate you in case you do not catch "first-bed-wave".
Time out's splash: It has beds and umbrellas to have an equally good time drinking refreshing cocktails and consuming large amounts of ice cream, as required by the Cypriot summer.

The beach of "the bold"
To the left of Malama Beach, there is a rocky outcrop that at first sight seems hostile to bathers. But things are not exactly as they seem. We christened it the beach of "the daring", since in order to get off the small carved stairs, we needed - let's not hide it - courage. So we climbed the rocks, entered the small caves, walked along them and thought it was worth sharing the experience with you. Sometimes the alternative is the one that makes the difference.
Time out's splash: The untouched natural landscape with the rock-eating rocks contracted by the sea wins the bet on the points.Read the full article here: http://www.timeoutcyprus.com/article/14036/7-paralies-horis-synostismo-se-protara-agia-napa#sthash.vp5MTW2t.dpuf
