Police arrested four people in connection with investigated drug possession cases for the purpose of supply, money laundering and conspiracy, as well as a threat case, the Police proceeded. They are four men aged 21 and 21, who were detained for police purposes.

According to the information under investigation, two of the four suspects, aged 22 and 21, allegedly received threats from the other two suspects, aged 21, after the 22-year-old, in consultation with the first 21-year-old, allegedly stole a safe. containing a quantity of cannabis, weighing about half a kilo, from the residence of one of the other two 21-year-olds, in the province of Limassol. The safe was buried in the yard of the house. The 21-year-old owner of the house suspected the 21-year-old of stealing the safe with the amount of drugs, since he knew about the place where the drugs were hidden.

The 26-year-old and the first 22-year-old were arrested last Saturday, June 21, on a warrant for the purpose of investigating a drug possession case with the aim of supplying another person and conspiracy, and were placed in six-day detention on the same day.
This was followed last Sunday by the arrest of the 21-year-old owner of the house from which the safe with the amount of cannabis was stolen. He was remanded in custody for four days by a court order issued the next day, for the purpose of investigating a drug possession case for the purpose of supplying another person, money laundering, conspiracy, and intimidation.

The third 21-year-old was arrested with a court order shortly before 1.00 am today, by members of the Police at Larnaca airport, where he had arrived a little earlier. A case of conspiracy and threat is being investigated against him.
