Tourism revenues showed a large increase of more than €206 million or 7,1% in the period January - November 2024, far exceeding tourism revenues for the entire year 2023. Revenues amounted to €11 billion in the first 2024 months of 3,12, compared to €2,91 billion in the corresponding period of 2023.

It is noted that tourism revenue for the entire 2023 had reached €2,99 billion.

Moreover, tourism revenue in November 2024 alone showed the largest annual increase of all months last year.

Specifically, as the Statistical Service announced on Wednesday, based on the results of the Traveler Survey, tourism revenues in November 2024 amounted to €138,7 million, marking an impressive increase of 22,0%, compared to the corresponding month of 2023 (€113,7 million).

Tourist spending analysis

Moreover, according to data from the Statistical Service, per capita tourist spending in November 2024 increased by approximately €59 compared to November 2023.

Specifically, per capita tourist spending in November 2024 amounted to €771,02 compared to €712,63 in November 2023, recording an increase of 8,2%.

Moreover, the average daily expenditure of tourists amounted to €86,63 in November 2024, compared to €80,07 in November 2023, according to the data.

British tourists (the largest tourist market with 25,9% of all tourists in November 2024) spent an average of €80,58 per day (up from €71,75 in November 2023), while Polish tourists (the second largest tourist market in that month with 11,3% of the total) spent an average of €88,80 (up from €81,20 in November 2023).

Tourists from Israel (third largest market with 10,5%), spent €139,80 per day (up from just €71,26 in November 2023).
