Tourist arrivals in Cyprus in 2025 exceeded 4,5 million, according to the Cyprus Statistical Service, recording an increase of 12,2% compared to 2024, in a record year for the tourism industry.
Specifically, 4.534.073 tourists arrived in Cyprus in 2025, compared to 4.040.200 in 2024.
In the same year, total tourist arrivals in Cyprus also set a record, reaching 7.102.208, an increase of 13%. Departures reached 7.076.521, also an increase of 12,8% compared to 2024. According to the Statistical Service, air traffic represented 96,8% of both arrivals and departures in 2025.
In 2025, the United Kingdom was the main source of tourism for Cyprus, accounting for 31,8% of total tourist traffic, followed by Israel with 13%, Poland with 8,2%, Germany with 6,1%, Greece with 3,9% and Sweden with 3,4%.
The purpose of travel in 2025 was vacation for 79,8% of tourists, visiting friends or relatives for 13,1%, and business for 7%.

Tourism revenues in 2025 are estimated at €3.696,1 million compared to €3.209,4 million in 2024, marking an increase of 15,2%.
In 2025, the average per capita expenditure was estimated at €815,16, marking an increase of 2,6% from 2024. The highest per capita expenditure in 2025 was recorded in August at €966,41 and the lowest at €595,71 in February.

Travel abroad by Cypriot residents increased by 11,9% and reached 1.963.593 in 2025 from 1.754.937 in 2024.
According to the Statistical Service, in 2025, 32,6% visited Greece, 8,9% the United Kingdom, 5,5% Italy, 3,8% Russia, 3,5% Germany and 3,3% Poland.
The month in which the most trips by Cypriot residents were recorded was August, while the month with the fewest trips was February.
73,1% of Cypriot residents who returned from trips abroad in 2025 stated that the main purpose of their trip was vacation, 20,5% business reasons, 5,3% studies and 1,1% other reasons.
